Synchronizing Flex Packages with Cameo

To minimize the work load on the Cameo user, we provide the ability to synchronize Flex Packages from Tangram Pro™ into Cameo to allow the user to model messages within a system.

Synchronization with Flex Packages​

  1. With an IBD open, go to Tools > Synchronize Tangram Pro™ Flex Packages with Project
  1. Select the desired Flex Packages and click OK to sync. You will see all the packages that your Tangram Pro™ user has access to.
  1. Once the sync is complete, the Flex Packages will appear in the Cameo Containment Tree. They share a parent with your current IBD and are found under Synced Flex Packages along with all of its Messages

  1. Now that the desired Flex Packages are in your project, you can apply specific Flex Messages to Connectors within Cameo using Tangram Pro Stereotyped Elements. The desired Tangram Pro specific values will be in each element as specified tagged values.

  2. Within the Containment Tree you should notice Synced Elements from Tangram Pro™ > Synced Messages all available messages will be listed there and can be applied to the model.
